Celebrate National Single Parent Day and Join the Life Changer Golf Classic

Join Single Parent Advocate for the inaugural Life Changer Golf Classic on our new date, April 4th, 2022 at Oakmont Country Club! Oakmont's champion Bermuda grass greens provide an excellent putting surface that has continually challenged golfers of all skill levels. Fifty-one sand traps and 6 water holes enhance the picturesque view for all who visit this Championship Par-72 Golf Course. For all golfers, a box lunch and food at the Awards Ceremony will be provided as well as prizes for top teams! We will also have prizes for Hole-in-One, Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin. Mulligans available for $10 each. Fabulous raffle prizes at $10 a ticket and Text To Give challenges. Single Parent Advocate's recent holiday event in December 2021 was joyous for single parents and their kids!

We are SO grateful for the support of Chief Reim (aka Christmas 2021 - Single Parent Advocate Outreach Santa), the Highland Village Police Department, Matthew Six Ministries, Granite Tower, Gabb Wireless, Lifetime Fitness Flower Mound and SO Many of YOU who helped make such a huge positive difference in their lives! We are excited to have about 200 new families interested in enrolling in our program and are looking to expand our network. We made a video if you'd like to see it HERE

Single Parent Advocate was founded in 2009 and supports single parent families nominated by North Texas churches, schools, associations, and other non-profits when it is discovered that they do not qualify for more established suitable aid.

Once a family "falls through the cracks" it is our community's opportunity to change lives by helping educate, equip, and empower the parents with resource information, hands on help, and encouragement.

Single Parent Advocate has many families facing challenges like auto repair needs, utility and rent shortfalls, and tuition assistance requests. Many families are requesting clothing, as well as counselling and assistance with mental and emotional well being. It is our sincere desire to develop our programming to help provide resources and systems to support these requests.

We thank you, and so do the families we support. Truly, the things we do together makes the dark times more bearable, and creates hope and a path to change not only for each parent, but for their children as well.
